Rachel in Barcelona

We had a lovely time with Rachel and her mum tonight in Barcelona. They'd been here since Monday, but last time was the only chance to see them with our return last night from Cairo and with their leaving tomorrow. We worked together in Budapest from 2006 to 2009, starting off as colleagues, then became good friends. We used to go to the thermal baths every Friday and put the world to rights. She left Bp a few months before we did to return to the UK to do a PGCE and become a French and Spanish teacher.

Easy conversation, laughs, reminiscing, plans for the future, good food and wine made for a great night.
