Planting a cherry tree.

Still affected by this horrid bronchitis, all I managed today was lie in bed till 12, have a coffee, then plant a cherry tree.

I bought this little tree last week at Aldi for the bargain price of £3,99 and am curious to see how it will do. I have planted it in front of the 'orchard' of old, standard varieties of apple, pear and plum, next to the soft fruit planted last year, as it is on dwarf stock. It is in good view of the shed bench, so hopefully we will have some cherry blossom viewing parties in the future.

At the moment, it is budding satisfactorily!
