Number 1Howard Gardens was built in 1913, extended sometime in the 60's, but has been empty for the last ten years.  Squatters moved in & were soon utilising the internal timbers for heating fuel, severely weakening the house.  Builders have been trying to make it safe, & rejuvenate the structure, but that rear extension totally collapsed a few months ago.  The good news is that it's being rebuilt, & this central Cardiff location will soon have seven more flats.
