Skunnered!

Scottish word that fits this morning. Got up early to climb Blackford Hill to see sunrise. It was cold but the views were "well cool". With numb fingers took lots of shots as the streaky clouds turned a lovely pink. Used panorama setting and even tried a 360° one.
Went to a Costa for a warming coffee and decided to blip one of the pics. What a skunner! Somehow the pixel setting on my tablet had set itself lower and the photos were too small to upload. Hence first loaded a picture the blue sky outside the Costa at Holy Corner, but then given it was Dad's birthday we went with him to Mum's grave. Stimulated lots of grateful thoughts.
Lesson: if you go to the bother of getting up early and getting cold to take pictures, check the camera settings. Having said that it was great seeing the beauty of God's creation.
Also could see my childhood home in Midmar Gardens and discovered it now has a loft extension.
