 ........... an orchid.

For Flower Friday.   Try large ...... 

I think it is a rather splendid orchid though ...... I know it's the "classic view" but, to me, it looks like a sci-fi-style bird -  smallish head with sharp beak and purple eyes on the side at top centre, with wings curved downward, two large purple feet at the bottom and a large chasm, where his body should be, ready to swallow his prey!  
I really like having an imagination!!!!!
