The Singing Ringing Tree, Burnley

After spotting this sculpture on another blipper's journal a couple of years ago, I enquired where it was. Today, as I was visiting my fave fabric shop in Burnley, I decided to try to find it, taking H and Dad with me for the ride.

It was blustery and wet, so the tree was humming away as we arrived. The views were great from the tree (a panopticon), and we all enjoyed the quick, refreshing blast of fresh air we had as we viewed it.

The drive home through Rossendale and Crawshawbooth was scenic too!

Have been busy sewing - a blouse - so hopefully I will be blipping that in a few days time. The Sewing Bee programme has been a real motivation for me - Cheers Beeb!!!
