Flooding

I drove home through some seriously flooded roads tonight. I was appalled when some clown drove past me, ignoring a cop telling him to stop and drove though a massive section of flooded road. He then had to move over onto the shoulder because of oncoming traffic.
I'd say the water was maybe 2 1/2 to 3 foot deep. Not the worst. I could have driven through it, but when a cop gives me direction I generally do as I am told. I heard there is a $600 fine. Let's hope the cops on the other side of the flooded road caught him and fined him. They were probably waaaay to busy though.
I got home safely although a 25 minute commute turned into a 50 minute one. At times I was actually heading away from my destination!
