Irritating Final Day

Woke up feeling very sad we would be leaving today to go to the airport but cheered up when I saw this delicious breakfast! We checked out and took off for Mexico city. Mum decided that driving in Mexico was not for her so we abandoned our plans for today and decided to just go back to the airport. This is where the horrors started. We had a very long drive around the edge of Mexico City (through markets, stop-start traffic, craaazy drivers) and then it took us AN HOUR to find the airport when we were less than 5km away, we could see it but couldn't work out how to get to it and there was a severe lack of signs. Once we handed back the car and got to the hotel we breathed a sigh of relief only to find out the valet at the previous hotel hadn't put our suitcases in the boot. We both felt very stupid, exhausted and upset but the problem was solved soon enough and we just chilled out for the rest of the day
