The Boss was all for a morning walk and a biggie as the sheep (wether) was baaing on about 28 C and he felt a quiet Friday night in front of Netflix ( which had a bunch of new series’s) from “The Fall” and “House of Cards” with a cool drink and a light breeze would be quiet nice.
So big it was and we explored a new trail that took us to the tippy top of the hill and offered this view for the fruit phone.
14068 steps got racked up (double that for ME) so I felt that a quiet night with my Footie would be kinda nice and would not worry The Boss who likes his headphones on so he can grab all the audible detail from each scene. At 539 dog years I guess he is entitled to be missing the “Presence Zone” on his genetically inherited internal lo fi system….right? I am not going to mention that I can hear the next door neighbour cleaning his glasses with a wet handkerchief but thats just a dog thing and a superior design feature.
The town is completely taken over with YASE . (Yet Another Sporting Event). The Wanaka Challenge. This one is also a biggie and the biggest of them all complete with a devastating fireworks display where thousands of dollars of chemicals go up in flames and all the dogs in town have nervous breakdowns. I would REALLY like someone to calculate the “Social Worth” of Fireworks displays at the end of sporting events (see yase above) in our town where say The Cost gets divided by the number of people that actually think it means anything anymore and at the height of summer dryness it just encourages the Fireworks Hoarders to break out their stuff too. Furious Footie squeaking beats large bangs anytime.
Ok Ok Rant over and The Boss has got out my Thunder Jacket for tomorrow night.
Oh iPhone 6 Pano but you knew that I bet
