Gull Gathering

During this cold week at the beach, the sea gulls seem to gather in this spot for several hours at a time.  The pipe is part of a storm water drainage system, and I don't think there is anything from there that should draw them.  If I was still an academic, I might call this photo, A Study in the Socialization of Sea Gulls in Winter.
