Le Lac de Montriond

We had  a picnic near Verchaux in the sunshine then drove to the cool Lac Montriond for a drink at the Restaurant Bout de Lac and looked at the stunning views. Afterwards we followed the path through the woods to the waterfall but it was difficult to get a good view as the little bridge was closed. I have discovered how to take close up photos so I am looking forward to experimenting with my camera but this shot of the ice covered lake was too beautiful to miss for a blip
