Plan B

Our FreeSat connection is on the fritz. From speaking to a neighbour I'm pretty sure it's the satellite connection for the building not our box (we've tested two with different wires same result). I've contacted our letting agency about it but they say there is a risk if the engineer can't find anything we'll be charged around £70. I'm not happy taking that risk to be honest!

So, for a few programmes we've been hooking up the laptop to the tv via a HDMI cable. Does the trick, although we can't skips the adverts anymore!

Hopefully the satellite will come back fully (it's done this before and eventually worked itself out) and we can go back to Plan A!

Mr Selfridge isn't quite as dramatic as House of Cards I must say! :-)
