Year Three

Emergency bathtime

Don't usually wash the dog at lunchtime, but kinda obvious he needed it.

Not so much the dirt, but if he's getting dirty like this then it means he's itching, and if he gets dirt into skin, he gets itchier. We think his sensitive skin comes from the mange he had so badly when we first got him. His mange has long gone, but we reckon it's damaged his skin a little.

Only way to break the cycle is to wash him thoroughly, and dose him up with 50mg Benadryl. Right now, we have a white and red raw dog running round.

If you are new to my Blips, then this is what he looked like when we first got him just over 2 years ago.
