Day 8 Dubai

AC is off on holiday and is taking us to the old part of the city. We started of by meeting Jan for breakfast and then getting the metro to Al Rais which took us into gold and spice Souk. This was an experience that we won't forget very busy and people wanting you to buy things. Needed to keep an eye on Caitlin as they thought she was a Bollywood Film Star.....  Down to the water front and took a  boat to the other side of the Creek there we found a cafe for lunch with some traditional arabic food which was very good. Then off to the Fort but first through more windy lanes and shops we went into this one above and I think AC & Caitlin look like a through back to the seventies when Abba won the Eurovision but we did not buy them. Anyway we walked round the old fort and then found a nice cafe and had some very refreshing lemonade and mint. A very long day but worth it.
