We (used to) love to learn...

I was walking past the old Ashmount Junior School in Hornsey Lane today when I spotted this old sign up in one of the long empty classrooms. (Had to take at angle as you couldn't see the sign otherwise.)
My daughter went to this school 20+ years ago. It's been empty for the last few years since the school was relocated at a new site. There's been a lot of controversy about its future. I've slightly lost track of what's happening. A free school is operating from portacabins on the site, this building will ultimately be demolished, some of the site is supposed to be redeveloped as housing...
Meanwhile, I just realised it's derelict Thursday so have tagged accordingly!
