A good day skiing
Gavin and I were up the mountain by 8.30am this morning, leaving the boys to sleep a bit longer. Thomas is finally feeling a bit better and the older boys had gone out last night and had a rather late night...again! This is their last hurrah before they knuckle down to preparing for their final exams, so we don't mind them having as much fun as possible as they have a horrible few months ahead of them.
We started the morning by doing a favourite run down the mountain, through the trees and then we get the 'blue bubble' (as can be seen here)back up the mountain again. It was quiet with no queues or crowds and very enjoyable. We then had a coffee stop to re-fuel and carried on skiing. My skiing has improved so much this week and I have actually enjoyed every day, which is unusual for me.
Adam's one friend had to leave on the afternoon train to go back home to London as he has an interview tomorrow morning for medicine at Leicester University, so a smaller household tonight. The boys have all been a pleasure to have, perfectly charming and well mannered.
