The last of the figs

I haven't written much about my fig tree this year. Just for the record, it produced enough. I made nearly 20 jars of fig jam. And the last lot is getting roasted/dried in the oven as we speak. It is Jamie Oliver's recipe, roasting them into sweet, cinnamon flavoured fig wine gums. He says they can be preserved in honey. Yum!
