Fisher Jessie

Mixed feelings about this. It portrays the harsh life of the fishing community, especially for women who juggled looking after children and work - walking far inland selling fish from their wicker baskets.
But the odd scale of larger than life mother seems out of kilter with that of the wee girl and that's what I think about each time I pass, forgetting the  bigger picture.....I guess I'm shallow!
