Not easily forgotten
Not the play, which we went to see in the afternoon, or the news about mum which I didn't find out until we'd arrived back home at around 6pm. Her prognosis is not good, but amazingly she was remarkably cheery when we went yesterday evening. She's been moved twice yesterday - once in the middle of the night from her individual room to a 5 bed room, which meant she hadn't had much sleep and then to ward 28 (except for some reason they call them Gates - a bit like an airport, they clearly expect them to be flying out anytime soon!). The staff in there seemed delightful and it felt a lot more settled than ward 32, which is an assessment ward. I wonder where she'll be today!
The events of the day rather dwarfed the fact that this is my 1500 blip.
