Chaffinch

Back to Heathrow at crack of dawn today to pick up Arran and Willow. For some unknown reason their plane landed a whole hour early! so they were able to get to the pick up point, and the whole thing went really smoothly! 
After I got home I went for a quick trip to the local nature reserve to see the birds, sadly the reserve was full of noisy, yelling, screaming children and the birds stayed away!! 
As I was leaving this male Chaffinch graced us with his presence, in fact he stayed so long I thought he was ill, but no, just hungry!!!
Off to bed now, as I am feeling a bit under the weather :-(
