Little Fantail

A little juvenile fantail visited the garden today. He flitted between trees catching bugs in flight, preened a little and chirped a lot. His feathers are soft and fluffy, his eye brows quite defined but this little expression says it all - 'where are the rest of my tail feathers?' He bears only three long white tail feathers, no wonder he's looking a little disgruntled.

Took it easy today, a bit of light gardening, lots of strolling with a cuppa in hand and feeling a little better. E on the other hand sounds and looks not quite so good. She was called into work yesterday and went to work today but things were quiet so came home and slept, lets hope she's feeling better soon.

It was another hot day, 28C, one can't complain as there's been a bit of a chill in the air some mornings, hope autumn is not too early.
