St John the Evangalist, Upper Hopton

Today we attended the funeral of a good friend from my darkroom days. John and I were in the same UPP circle when I first joined in the early 1990s. We travelled to Upper Hopton, near Mirfield, West Yorkshire. As usual with funerals we learnt more about John's life than we ever did when he was alive.

Today's blip had to be monochrome in memory of John. RIP John H Grainger.
