Haarspalterei

It says a lot about my day when I use an image of words.

Words I can't use in my day-to-day life.

Frustrated isn't even close to describing it.

After several sets of very, very polite e-mail ping-pong, I was actually able to make some progress.

German is a beautiful language (really) and you can say things very precisely with it.

But I can't make it dance the profanity dance that I needed so desperately today.

We've effectively been told that we can carry out our tests but, after we've finished our testing, we won't be able to use the thing we've just tested anymore.

And nor will anyone else.

The logic escapes me.

And "Haarspalterei" means something like splitting hairs.  Something I can't do anymore, because I've pulled them all out.

Suggested songs for the Profanity Dance are welcome.
