Cloud halo

I had coffee with with Kate this morning, a good friend from my teaching days.  We don’t catch up that often but it’s easy when we do and this morning was no exception.  

After Little Dog had her usual homemade dog biscuits at the cafe, Kate headed off and we walked back from Ilkley to increasing patches of blue sky and sunshine.  It felt like winter had turned a corner but, as usual, I guess there’ll be a few more corners yet.

I enjoyed watching this cloud halo opening up as I approached home.
