Ash and alms

Lent is upon us. Resolutions and solutions beckon. First half of the day was spent in local schools with ashes and explanations — the latter centred on Trócaire's campaign this year to help solve droughts in Ethiopia and provide people with clean water.
Children's innate empathy always move them to help others. Where do the rest of us loose it along the way? ;-)
