Hyndland Station Underpass
On Monday I blipped this underpass looking towards the exit to the central platform. Today I've pointed the camera in the opposite direction - towards the Hyndland exit. This 150 feet long mural involved pupils and staff of Hyndland Secondary School in consultation with stained-glass artists Rab MacInnes and Linda Cannon. It was commissioned to celebrate Glasgow’s Year as Cultural Capital of Europe in 1990. Today was so gloomy that the underpass was the brightest place around!
