Darth Vader

This is perhaps the tiniest moth I have ever seen.

I think it's a forester moth, but it wasn't the satin green that I've seen before.  More a bronze colour, with drab bands.  I did get a very bad image of it's back, but far too poor to assist with any kind of definite ID.  It flew at the speed of light, so I was happy to get something.

Because there was very little around.  The bush is holding its breath waiting for the season to break. 

And I think it's going to have to wait a while yet.
