Day trip to our wonderful capital city today.
And a busy day it was too.

Firstly we went to Ikea as Arya had requested this as a birthday treat. She is 7 on Sunday. She like the store because you can touch everything. So food was made in every kitchen and many beds were slept on and many chairs and sofas tried out.

Afterwards we met Stevaan and Annabel and Euan, along with several of their friends from down south at the National Museum in Chambers Street.

After dinner at Pizza Hut, we took the twins back to their hotel stopping to take this photo outside the Tron kirk on The Royal Mile.
I believe this is the place that they filmed the original, 1982 ,Jeff Bridges, classic, scifi movie. Not the terrible follow up.
