Leaning
This is the Albert Memorial Clock in Belfast city centre. It's famous for leaning, though not quite as much as I've made out in this picture. The top is actually only four feet out of perpendicular, rather than the Pisa-like proportions it's at here. Still, it's enough to notice it, even at a casual glance.
Apparently, the tower was built on wooden foundations, which probably seemed like a good idea at the time. If anyone ever gives you a choice of wooden or concrete foundations, I'd suggest going with the concrete ones (unless your building is a boat).
Anyway, they strengthened the foundations in 2002, so the clock should be good for another century or two.
