The loneliness of the long distance pancake

Rather sadly all the kids were not here this year - one at work, one at his girlfriend's, the other in Canada. We sat there glumly eating our supper and thinking of  Shrove Tuesdays gone by when we would all get together and completely trash the kitchen.

Mind you I did make a rather yummy feta cheese and spinach pancake stack as a main course ...
