After the allotted task of clearing all the shite off the top of the kitchen cupboards I also got round to tidying-up the bit between my side of the bed and the window which has been a temporary bicycle workshop for the past couple of weeks. The final pieces of the newproperbike arrived in a shop today, for collection after a trundle to the Western to get my hips X-rayed to see if there's an obvious reason for the left one not allowing me to stand still comfortably. Having not checked my phone before reaching the shop it was then unfortunately necessary to go on a further trundled extension to pick up vital groceries, all of which still feels whooshily quick and easy on a properbike after two months of leaden spare.
