Mallard

I've chosen to carve a mallard duck for the 3 day waterway themed stone carving workshop I'm taking part in. One of the influences for the project is Jhelum in Pakistan, and I discovered last night that mallard ducks can be found there, and around the waterways of Burnley, so it seemed like a good choice thematically. And who doesn't love ducks! I'm not very good at stone carving, but fortunately the tutor is brilliant, and really helpful. Still 1 day to go.
