Lifetime Achievement.

My longtime and very good friend Bren has been writing songs for all of his life. He has had two number one hits here in Ireland. 
We used to host a songwriters night together in a city pub. It was very popular.
This year he decided to bite the bullet and has produced a comprehensive double album of his own songs on vinyl and CD.
It cost him a small fortune but it is very well done.
My son Jofish sings four of the songs and I do one meself.
Tonight me and Bren had a pre-launch celebration, which involved copious amounts of beer and whisky, and a lot of laughter.
I'm really looking forward to the launch in two weeks time.
It promises to be a mighty night.
