Down to business

Today was the first day of three days teaching. We have an excellent group of around twenty lecturers from the University of Delhi. After all the introductions David started off with a session on using blogs as part of a blended learning solution then we headed to the breakout rooms and we got everyone set up with a blog to get them started. Once that was done and they had all set up a blog we broke for lunch and after lunch I delivered a workshop on recording and editing video and audio for them to use on their courses.

Between the two sessions that took us to the four o'clock finishing session. We stayed on for a while longer fielding questions to finish up. It was a great first day with a fantastic group and the people from the Campus of Open Learning were great as ever.

A fairly quiet night this evening putting some bits and pieces together for the course Moodle and a trip to the Embassy restaurant for dinner finished it off nicely. I'm looking forward to day two now.
