Highlands and lowlands

It was such a bright and sparkling day that I went into work early to get things done in time to have a dog walk while the sun was still high in the sky.  Rent-a-dog is now on his holidays so there will be few more dog walks this week.  I spotted these highland cattle a long way from home.  They may seem a bit out of place on the lowlands but at least they are well protected from the bitter easterlies that can blow off the North sea.
