Bogert's Covered Bridge

Built in 1841, the 145 foot long Bogert's Covered Bridge spans the Little Lehigh Creek. The bridge was made entirely of wood and did not contain one nail or iron bond to hold the massive structure together. Sadly an overweight truck damaged the structural integrity of the bridge. The bridge has been closed to vehicle traffic since 1956.

This blip was taken at 7:30 am with the air temperature was -17C or 1 F.
