Standing up the First Minister

Definately slacking on the yes front. Had a date with the First Minister and her cabinet tonight at the music hall in Aberdeen with another family member but wasn't able to go, still in holiday mode after travelling from the west to the East coast.

Four seasons in one day. Torrential rain in the morning, easing off just in time for a goodbye visit to Stoer beach, before heading home via blizzards then sunshine.

Back to see the kids who had been having a laid back time with Grandma and Granda. Much thanks to them for letting us have a much needed wee escape. We'd not have had this opportunity without them. Not just for the huge babysitting ask this weekend, but also because they discovered how wonderful Assynt is years ago. And so have we. And so too have the kids.
