Today I chose not to spend $400-500.

Replacement two burners are around $300, and chances are they wouldn't fit the counter top so that would have to be replaced.....or.....

Clean the old one and get parts repaired. The clip in units for the burners will be replaced later in the week for $11.00 and and I'll see about finding two matching knobs, which can't be much more than $5.

Quite pleased with the cleaning. Overnight with oven cleaner, 30 minutes with a jet washer, and then 2 hours with a razor blade and 3 wire wool thingies, and then 5 minutes with the jetwasher again.
