ISS Fly Past
Noticed the clouds clearing on the road back home tonight and remembered there's another batch of International Space Station flypasts doing the rounds just now. This wasn't the brightest pass tonight, but this sequence of a dozen images also caught a plane heading into Glasgow airport low on the horizon. Liked this one as it shows how much light is thrown up into the sky here in Central Scotland, with the glow from Stirling on the right, Falkirk in the centre, and Alloa on the left.
Detoured over at the friendly neighbourhood cycle mechanic to pick up my patched up bike before this; timely that was too as I managed to pick up a puncture on the back-up I've been using, five hundred yards from the door on the way to work. Walk of shame back up the hill, dumped it and reluctantly took the car in. Was looking forward to the commute in this morning too as, after a week off and mostly sleeping snug and soundly through this time, it was great to see how much lighter it is in the mornings.
