Room for Me..?

Little Ted usually at least starts the night in his own bed before pottering along to join us sometime after 10pm, but tonight he was insistent that he was going to sleep in Mummy's bed. Rob is away for a few days so there's more space than usual, I didn't argue. But I've just cone upstairs to hit the sack myself and found Ted has done a 90 degree turn, so is lying horizontally across the bed! I've squeezed in and am now lying precariously perched on the edge, I'll have to inch my way further in, gently pushing him onto the far side, trying not to wake him. I do enjoy my cuddles with him at night. It won't last long in the scheme of things, and I'll miss him when he finally decides he wants to spend an entire night in his own bed.

We popped up to visit the calf yesterday, and as far as I could tell he seemed fine. He was lying in the straw next to his mum so I couldn't tell if he was feeding ok, but I hope so. I know the farmer would be keeping a close eye. It's rained all day today so we haven't been to see them; maybe tomorrow.
