Tea at the Rural

The Samba Sisters had been invited to play at the SWRI in Holywood this evening. Fiona gave a wee speech about how we started, how long each of us has been playing and what all the different instruments are called. Then all the ladies were issued with earplugs before we started to play (this is because we are very noisy in a small hall, not because we play so badly!).
After playing three numbers, we asked for volunteers to learn a piece and the ladies had fun practising for a short performance.
I had to do the most difficult part of the evening, which was to judge the competitions. These involved choosing the best fruit drink and the tastiest shortbread..
After which we were treated to a lovely tea.
