Sir Scallywag and the Golden underpants

Brilliant day with the SCO. Kids got to try out instruments before the concert. Percussion was a big hit (no pun intended) and Callum was quite good on trombone (plastic blue one) and trumpet (yellow plastic). Magnus was in his element and insisted on queuing to "try" the purple violin that was too big for him ... I think his little 16th size one that he "plays" (mucks around on) at home is a better fit.

The concert was great - not too long. The story was engaging, the music good and Chris from "Show Me Show Me" was awesome.

Highly recommend it. It was telling that just about every classical musician in Glasgow with kids in this age bracket was there!
