Casserole Preparation

My basic casserole, roughly chopped root veg, 2 bays leaves and a few sprigs of thyme lightly fried in butter and vegetable oil until softened. Add flour, tomato purée, Worcester sauce and stock. Brown the meat and then throw the lot in a casserole pan and cook on a low temperature for 2 1/2 hours.
