Room With A View

Dd treated us to a night in the Mena House Hotel beside the Pyramids to celebrate my birthday.    Time to get the the big camera out and also mark its 5th year in service.  It was my 50th birthday present from Dd and led, not long after, to the start of my blip journal.

The setting is wonderful and its a real treat to be away from the hubbub of the Cairo streets.     A place to consider for a few nights as part of any visit to Egypt.   Now we are about to change for dinner with a few more pressies to follow!
