Penny Bun's Day Off

The thing about being retired is you never have a day off. I know I will get no sympathy for this from those who still work hard, day in, day out but I usually have a to do list, which I seldom get through, or a plan for the day. So today I thought I would have no plan and just see how the day unfolded. I started with my daily Garden Bird Watch over a leisurely breakfast. I was very excited to see a couple of Brambling in next door's tree. Cue a long watch to see if they would come back so I could count them as a garden tick, Guess who came to visit!  Not the Bramblings. No art class tonight as it's half term.
