Treasure!

It is mid-term break so Oscar and Bailee are enjoying a bit of time at home with Maple and their mummy. 

Today we went to the park, soaked in the sun and dug for buried treasure. 

To Oscar's delight, Maple found the teeniest, tiniest piece of Lego in the sand. He really did think all of his Christmases and come at once and congratulated Maple on her find. Bailee even jumped in on the action and rewarded her sister with big hugs. I think Maple felt very special! 

The twins have been studying planets and dinosaurs at school, so of course they had to dig for dinosaur bones. Oscar next began a lengthly quest to reach the centre of the earth... "Am I almost there mummy?" "Am I almost at the centre of the earth?"
