Tivoli

The girls are still in quarantine and not supposed to go into any crowded places - possibly until they are at least 6 months old - for fear of infection. So this afternoon my DIL was meeting a friend for coffee and cake at a new very smart shopping area called Tivoli. Most of the seating was outside under huge umbrellas to ward off the sun so it was very safe for the girls. I had a lovely wander around the area, window shopping with the girls in the double buggy, before I joined them. Despite wonderful attention to detail in the architecture the place hasn't really taken off yet and many of the high quality shops were very thin on the ground with customers and some that were there on my last visit had now closed. There were just two bustling places, one the cafe where we were and a very smart business style restaurant. Maybe they need at least one mainstream store to attract more folk in. It was a most enjoyable afternoon though.
