Soggy Sparrowhawk

I think he looks like he's looking up to the heavens wondering when the rain is going to stop. Poor thing had just made two unsuccessful swoops across the lawn and round the garden, sat on the fence getting very wet, hoping the birds might come back and they didn't. So he decided to sit in the bush where the feeders are, there is a bit of shelter from the rain in there but not a lot as the leaves have all fallen off. I felt really quite sorry for him out there....wet, hungry, cold and probably a tad miserable ( if birds can feel miserable). Never mind Mr Sparrowhawk, tomorrow's another day :-)
