Mother and Child

Day one of the Martin Bailey Photography Winter Wonderland tour and we headed toward the Nagano Prefecture and the famous Snow Monkeys that bathe in the geothermal baths of the Jigokudani valley. There are literally hundreds of these monkeys in the area and three or four at a time a bathing in their natural sauna whilst the rest are pruning themselves by the river. This is going to be one of those trips where it will be almost impossible not to come back with a shed load of images that are for sharing but I am going to try and restrict myself to either the very beautiful or the very funny.
