....rebuilding our family nest after the storms...

We have had some violent storms in Catalonia which has affected the nests of the stork colony in Perelada (worth a visit if you like golf, fine wines and gambling! Oh and of course storks!!)

But today the sun came out and the storks were very busy 'fixing up' their family homes and bill-clappering when the partners met at the nest of their young.

I hope to re-visit these extraodinary storks next week as I have a big soft spot for these elegant gentle large birds....
